Friends And Fellowship

Most people can count their true friends on the fingers of one hand. Friendship is not something to be taken lightly. God's love shines through in the connections we make with friends. Fellowship is a way of passing on God's love. And this love we share with our friends can be a healing process.

The orangutan in the photos below was a rescue and was not doing well. This old hound wandered in absolutely emaciated and the orangutan snapped to as if a long-lost buddy had just arrived. He stayed with the hound night and day until he was well and in the whole scenario, found a reason to live. They are now inseparable.

New found friend   Suryia and Roscoe - Best Of Friends
My new friend  Where you lead, I will follow...best friends Suryia
the orangutan and Roscoe the Blue Tick hound.
A nice day for a swim   Dog paddle's the order of the day here for the
couple who live at the Tigers sanctuary in Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina
My friend makes me laugh.   My friend makes me laugh!
Just hanging out.   Suryia and Roscoe spend hours together every day.
Just resting after a day of fun!   The three-year-old orangutan goes everywhere with Roscoe.
  I love my new friend.   A dog's not just a man's best friend, he's an orangutan's too.

Be thankful for the friends you have. Reach out in love the hand of friendship to others. Share God's love. We'll all be the better for it.
